And this is how the results for the best consultancies in 2025 were determined:

For the twelfth year in a row, Statista and brand eins are identifying the best management consultancies in Germany. This year, 288 consultancies and 8 consultancy networks made it onto the best list.

The list is based on a survey of experts (partners and principals of management consultancies) and a client survey. A total of 6,658 partners and principals of management consultancies were surveyed for the expert survey.

Following the expert survey, an online survey was conducted among 2,000 senior executives who were recruited via an online panel. In addition, 280 executives (Head of Strategy, Head of Business Development etc.) from DAX, M-DAX, S-DAX and Tec-DAX companies were specifically researched and invited to take part in the survey.
